Former BBC Consultants Undergo Members of Parliament's Grilling In the Wake of Allegations of Prejudice in Disclosed Document
We begin with queries from Tory Member of Parliament the panel's head, who leads the committee.
She opens by offering details to the disclosed document authored by Michael Prescott and printed in the Telegraph.
"It is not my wish for the British Broadcasting Corporation slanting toward one side or the other, My only wish is for it neutral, fair and fair," he states.
Upon being questioned whether he thinks the British Broadcasting Corporation is institutionally biased, Prescott replies: "No, I do not. It is important to note, a great deal the British Broadcasting Corporation does is exceptional - both factual and fictional content."
Nevertheless, he states: "There is substantial tasks that requires attention at the BBC."
A further previous consultant BBC specialist interviewed by the committee, Caroline Daniel, remarks she views the British Broadcasting Corporation extremely earnestly and that it maintains a "ongoing system and vigorous discourse" across evolving and intricate topics.
"Was the BBC willing to engage in a proper dialogue and argument and implement changes?" she reflects. "In my view, indeed, they were."
